USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program (USAG) Level 1 is Dynamo Gymnastics Training Center's entry pre-team program where girls advance from our pre-school program based on stamina, strength, flexibility, and gymnastics skills. Upon training and mastering the program requirements (typically 6 mos), they will advance to the Level 2 Team.
Level 2 is Dynamo Gymnastics Training Center's entry pre-team program where girls advance from our recreational program or from the Level 1 Team based on stamina, strength, flexibility, and gymnastics skills. The Level 2 Team will learn the drills & skills necessary for Level 3 & Level 4. Upon training and mastering the program requirements (typically 6 mos), they will advance to the Level 3 or Level 4 Team.
Level 3 is USA Gymnastics Preparatory Compulsory competitive team program. The Level 3 gymnasts perform compulsory routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 3 program from the Level 2 Team or may enter this level from our recreational class program based on stamina, strength, flexibility, and gymnastics skills. Level 3 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 5 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational meets. Upon training, mastering, and competing the program requirements (typically 6-12 mos), they will advance to the Level 4 Beginner Compulsory Team.
Level 4 is USA Gymnastics Beginner Compulsory competitive program. Level 4 gymnasts perform compulsory routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 4 program from the training team or Level 3 team. Level 4 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 6 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, and state meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12 mos), they will advance to the Level 5 Intermediate Compulsory Team.
Level 5 is USA Gymnastics Intermediate Compulsory competitive program. Level 5 gymnasts perform compulsory routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 5 program from the Level 4 team. Level 5 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 7 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, and state meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12 mos), they will advance to the Level 6 Advanced Compulsory Team.
Level 6 is USA Gymnastics Advanced Compulsory competitive program. Level 6 gymnasts perform compulsory routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 6 program from the Level 5 team. Level 6 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 7 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, and state meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12 mos), they will advance to the Level 7 Modified Optional Team.
Level 7 is USA Gymnastics Modified Optional competitive program. Level 7 gymnasts perform optional choreographed routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 7 program from the Level 6 team. Level 7 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 7 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, and state meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12-24 mos), they will advance to the Level 8 Beginner Optional Team.
Level 8 is USA Gymnastics Beginner Optional competitive program. Level 8 gymnasts perform optional choreographed routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 8 program from the Level 7 team. Level 8 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 8 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, state, and regional meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12-24 mos), they will advance to the Level 9 Intermediate Optional Team.
Level 9 is USA Gymnastics Intermediate Optional competitive program. Level 9 gymnasts perform optional choreographed routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 9 program from the Level 8 team. Level 9 gymnasts must master the routines and be a minimum of 8 years old to compete in sanctioned invitational, sectional, state, regional, and eastern national meets. Upon training, mastering and competing the program requirements (typically 12-24 mos), they will advance to the Level 10 Advanced Optional Team.
Level 10 is USA Gymnastics Advanced Optional competitive program. Level 10 gymnasts perform optional choreographed routines at meets. Girls advance into our Level 10 program from the Level 9 team.
